PT – Parts Transfer Truck Driver
Job description
*Start time of 10:00am from Purcellville, VA. Will travel between Purcellville, VA, Damascus, MD, and Frederick, MD.
Purpose:
Safely operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership, may instruct customers on basic equipment, operating procedures
Responsibilities:
o Safely operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership, may instruct customers on basic equipment, operating procedures.
o Transport equipment to/from customers and or between dealer facilities
o Support the sales department with equipment delivery
o Maintain accurate records for fuel consumption, mileage, and time
o Obtain necessary, signatures on documentation contacts and receipts
o Hold and maintain all required certifications in line with DOT OSHA, and company policy
o Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties
o Maintain and keep vehicles clean and safe working order and up-date on maintenance schedules.
o Maintain a knowledge of equipment offered by the company
o Be able to safely recover broken machines with a winch and do not cause damage to property and vehicles
o Safely secure all loads in line with DOT OSHA and company policy
Requirements:
o Class A CDL (Required), manual transmission and airbrake
o Clean, driving record
o Driving: 1 year (Preferred

Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Very physical repetitive lifting.
Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential.
